Do I need to rinse the QuickDrip™ filter before the first use?
Nope! The QuickDrip™ is ready to go right out of the box. There's no need to pre-rinse like you would with paper filters. Just pop it into your dripper and start brewing.
Which side is the "correct" side of the filter?
Both sides work the same — there's no front or back. If the fit feels a little snug or the cone isn’t opening fully on the first use, try flipping it inside out. It softens slightly with use and will naturally conform to your dripper.
It doesn’t seem to fit my dripper tightly — is that normal?
That’s totally fine. Unlike paper filters, the QuickDrip™ is made from flexible mesh and may not “stick” to your dripper at first. It still performs perfectly. With a few uses, the filter will shape more easily to your brewer.
How do I clean the filter?
Most of the time, a simple rinse with warm water is all you need. If you notice oil buildup or want a deeper clean, you can soak it in hot water or use a coffee gear cleaner (like espresso machine detergent). No dishwasher needed — just rinse, dry, and reuse.
Is this filter’s flavor profile different from regular paper filters?
Yes! That’s the magic of QuickDrip™. Unlike paper, it doesn’t absorb coffee oils, so your brew will be fuller-bodied with more aroma. You might notice a slightly richer or brighter cup depending on your pour. It’s a different experience — and that’s part of the fun. Try adjusting your pour style to explore new flavor notes.
