Timothy Goodman created the original artwork for this collaboration. Cocinare applies it to every kettle with heat-activated printing, so the design responds to temperature. Cold, you see the full design in black and white. At 140°F, the colors shift. It's how you know your water is ready without checking a number.
Goodman is an award-winning New York-based artist, designer, author, and muralist known for his bold visual language, with work spanning murals in New York, magazine covers, sneakers with Nike, collections with Uniqlo, and projects for Apple, Google, MoMA, Netflix, and The New York Times.

Precise temperature. ±1°F precision means your light roast hits 185°F, your oolong hits 195°F, your espresso water hits 200°F, every single time.
Steady flow control. The S-curved gooseneck keeps the stream steady at any tilt, and the tapered tip pulls the water into a clean, vertical pour. Go slow for a drip-by-drip bloom or open it up for a fast, full pour. When you stop, the stream cuts off clean.
Not just coffee. Green tea at 175°F. Black tea at 205°F. Gooseneck control for both.

What's the difference between Artist Edition and Gallery Edition?
Both feature original artwork by Timothy Goodman with heat-activated design. The Gallery Edition has an exclusive colorway not available in the Artist Edition, includes an Artist Card, and is strictly limited to 200 pieces in the US. Once sold out, it will not be restocked.
How limited is the Gallery Edition?

Is this actually art, or just a print?
Timothy Goodman created the original digital artwork for this collaboration. Cocinare uses heat-activated printing technology to transfer his design directly onto the stainless steel surface. The artwork is genuine. The technology is what makes it come alive with heat.
How does the heat activation work?
Heat-activated printing technology bonds Timothy Goodman's original design directly to the stainless steel surface. Cold: the full design is visible. Hot: the color expression changes. The artwork is always there. Heat simply reveals its full story.
Does it work with tea, matcha, or other hot drinks?
Yes. Any hot liquid works. The heat activation responds to temperature, not the drink. Coffee, tea, matcha, French press. All of it.
When does pre-sale pricing end?
Pre-sale pricing ends October 29 or when the pre-sale allocation sells out, whichever comes first. After that, Artist Edition returns to $199 and Gallery Edition to $299.
When will my order ship?
Pre-sale orders are estimated to start shipping December 12, on a rolling basis in the order they were placed. You'll receive a tracking notification as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
I'm ordering now but it ships in December. How do returns work?
Your return window runs 30 days from the day your kettle arrives. Since pre-sale orders ship in the order they were placed starting December 12, we're keeping returns open for everyone through January 25, whichever gives you more time.
Want to cancel before it ships? Email us any time before your order leaves the warehouse and we'll refund you in full. Once a parcel has shipped we can't intercept it, and refusing delivery carries a $15 fee toward shipping costs.
Is the kettle covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every Cocinare product carries a 12-month limited warranty, and you can extend it to 18 months for free by registering your kettle at cocinare.com/pages/warranty-registration.
Because pre-sale orders ship in December rather than on the day you order, your registration window runs from the December 12 ship date. You have until March 12 to register, no matter when you placed your pre-order.
If a covered product has a quality issue, we’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund, and Cocinare covers the return shipping. Email support@cocinare.com with your order number and the model name from the sticker underneath the kettle. Warranty claims are typically resolved within 14 business days.
How do I clean it? Will the artwork fade?
Wipe the outside with a soft, damp cloth and dry it with a towel. That's all the artwork needs.
The kettle is not dishwasher safe. Don't put it in the dishwasher, submerge it in water, or scrub the outside with abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
With normal use and care, the artwork won't fade, and it keeps shifting color with heat, brew after brew.
What is Cochef? Does the kettle support Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?
Cochef is Cocinare’s playful visual interaction concept, designed to bring a little personality to the brewing experience through expressive on-screen feedback. It is not a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or smart-home connectivity feature.
