Welcome to the Cocinare App (the “App”). Shenzhen Cocinare Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (“Cocinare,” “we,” or “us”) understand how important your personal information is to you, and we take appropriate security measures to protect it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information, as well as the rights you have. Please read and fully understand this Policy before using the App. By clicking “Agree” or beginning to use the App, you confirm that you fully understand and agree to this Policy.

1. How We Collect & Use Your Personal Information

To deliver product features and services, we may collect and use the following information within the necessary scope.

(1) Account registration & login

  • Email address, login password (stored encrypted), country/region, language settings, and time-zone information.
  • If you log in with a third-party account such as WeChat, Google, or Apple ID, we will, with your authorization, obtain the necessary public information provided by that platform — for example a nickname, avatar, OpenID/UnionID, Google account public information, or Apple account public information.

This information is used to create and manage your account, verify your identity, safeguard account security, and provide basic services.

(2) Profile management

  • Nickname, avatar, country or region, and language preference.

Used to display your information and provide a personalized experience.

(3) Device connection & management

  • Basic device information: device name, model, device ID, serial number, firmware version, activation time, and online status.
  • Bluetooth device information: Bluetooth device name, connection status, and signal strength.

Used to search for and discover devices, pair via Bluetooth, bind and control devices, and troubleshoot. We do not proactively collect or upload your device's unique identifier; where the system connection capability requires temporarily reading device connection information, we process it only to the extent necessary to deliver the corresponding feature.

(4) Brewing data & history

  • Brewing time, water volume, dose, brew ratio, brewing duration, flow-rate data, temperature data, brewing mode, and brewing results.
  • Device status, frequency of use, and device operation logs.

Used to save history, generate brewing reports, optimize the product experience, and provide the NearSense™ smart analysis service.

(5) Community & image sharing

  • When you use features such as avatar settings, image sharing, community posting, liking, commenting, or saving, we may process the images, text, interaction records, and display information that you actively upload or publish.

Used for content display, community interaction, sharing, content-safety review, and service optimization.

(6) Store information

  • When you use the store, product displays, promotion entry points, or redirect-to-purchase services, we may process product-browsing data, order status, payment status, or necessary transaction information returned by a third-party platform.

Where a transaction is completed by a third-party platform, the specific collection and processing rules are governed by that platform's privacy policy and transaction rules.

(7) Device firmware upgrade (OTA)

  • Device model, firmware version, upgrade status, and upgrade logs.

Used for upgrade management, feature optimization, and security maintenance.

(8) Logs & operational data

  • App version number, operating-system version, device model, IP address, network status, crash logs, and error logs.

Used for troubleshooting, service optimization, and security-risk prevention.

2. System Permissions We Request

To deliver certain features, the App may request the following system permissions. We request a permission only when you use the corresponding feature, and you may disable any permission at any time in system settings; doing so affects only that feature.

3. Third-Party Services & SDKs

To enable account login, content sharing, third-party authentication, and similar features, the App may integrate the following third-party services or SDKs. Third-party services may process necessary information based on their own functional needs, subject to their respective privacy policies.

We do not proactively collect or upload device unique identifiers. Where a third-party service needs to process device information, network status, or similar data to enable login, sharing, or authentication, this occurs only when you actively use the relevant feature.

4. Third-Party Links

  • The App may contain links to third-party websites, product pages, or external services.
  • When you click an external link, you leave the App and enter a third-party page or service.
  • Information handling on third-party pages or services is governed by their own privacy policies; we recommend you read those rules carefully before use.

5. How We Share, Transfer & Disclose Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We will share necessary information lawfully only in the following circumstances: with your explicit authorization; where required by laws and regulations; with affiliates within the necessary scope to provide unified services; or to enable third-party login, sharing, payment, or redirection features that you actively choose.

6. Storage & Protection of Personal Information

  • Authentication information is stored encrypted on-device or on lawful, compliant servers.
  • App cache data can be cleared in the App settings or system settings.
  • We protect your information with measures including HTTPS encrypted transmission, data access controls, data de-identification, permission management, and security auditing.
  • Your personal information is in principle stored on servers within the People's Republic of China. Where cross-border transfer is needed for global business operations, we will fulfill the relevant legal obligations and apply appropriate security safeguards.

7. Your Rights

Access
You have the right to view your account information, device information, and related data.
Correction
You may modify your nickname, avatar, and other profile details.
Deletion
You may delete history, clear cache, or unpair devices.
Account cancellation
The current version supports account cancellation. Path: Me → Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account. For security, we may require identity verification before cancellation. After cancellation is complete, we will delete or anonymize information associated with your account — including account information, profile, device-binding relationships, brewing records, community-interaction records, and personalized analysis data — except where retention is required by law or regulators, or is necessary to fulfill statutory obligations.
Withdraw authorization
You may withdraw permissions such as camera, photos, Bluetooth, location, and notifications via system settings. After withdrawal, the corresponding feature may no longer work, but other features are unaffected.

8. Protection of Minors

The App is primarily intended for adults. If you are a minor under the age of 14, please read and use the App with the accompaniment of a guardian. We do not proactively collect the personal information of minors without guardian consent. If we discover such a situation, we will delete the relevant information in accordance with the law.

When material changes are made to this Policy, we will notify you through in-app pop-ups, system notifications, in-app announcements, or similar means. The updated Policy takes effect upon publication.
